If an Omega has the headlight washers fitted, does this mean that it definately has xenons fitted ?
Cheers :y
-
no.
Early (pre 1998) Elites had Halogen lights with washers.
Apart from that, only factory fitted to those with HID's (Xenon's)
-
And the pre 1998 halogens would have had the projectors aswell ?
-
Mine is a late 97 Elite with Xenons and headlight washers. At least I presume they are. Blueish light? How can you tell?
-
I might be wrong :-/ but I think projectors were fitted as standard on the mini facelift, circa 97/98

If they are HID`s you won`t have the manual adjuster wheel on the lefthand side of the lighting switch. And when switched on there`s a slight delay to full illumination due to ballast powering up

No manual adjusting wheel, slight delay. HIDs they be.

Sorry to bring this back up. Yet another Q
The plug that plugs into the ballast pack, when the headlights are switched on does this supply a permenant 12v to the ballast pack ? :y
