Title: AR35 box
Post by: Shackeng on 31 January 2010, 17:29:22
Got my replacement box today, fitting it soon I hope. Has anyone got the Part no's for filter(s)/seals(if rqd) for an ATF change on an AR35.

TIA :y

Thanks again TB, PM sent with comments on box performance. :y :y :y

Thanks for the feedback - I was after some unbiased feedback from a TD owner who had gone up to V9.

Can you post your findings in the Test section, so we can start to make an FAQ on gearbox updates and the advantages/disadvantages for the various different engine combinations :y

Having got the 'AR35' box home, I looked at the plate which says AR25!!!, however after talking to DLK who supplied it, it seems that after reconditioning some 12000 miles ago, it was exchanged with an AR35 on a 3.0L Elite, and information is that the cases are identical, and that it has been fitted with AR35 intestines, so it will be fitted to mine in exchange for the existing "25000 miles since chipped" AR25. :y
