ok so story is the clutch went on my 3.2 omega saloon ,, so got the car stripped down ,, but with it being an ex-police car its got a different preassure plate and DMF ,, but i still ordered the clutch kit to see if it would fit on the DMF anyway but it dont :( so now ive gotta get a new DMF so the clutch kit fits , i have tried to find a plate that fits but evey place ive asked and been to has the same clutch kit and aint seen mine before lol .. my only other option was to get it sent off and rebuilt but that seems more hassel than its worth so just figured if i got a new DMF if i had any clutch problems in the future i wouldnt have any messing about to do ..
anyone know a good place to get a new one cheap?? or has anyone got one for sale ??
has anyone else had any problems like this ???
thanks ben

Hi
Don't know if its available, but if it is, its worth fitting a conventional flywheel. Should be cheaper than a DMF and not subject to the same problems as a DMF.

2 issues with that
1) It would need yet another different clucth setup
2) It would put further stress on the gearbox

If you're going anywhere near Bristol or South Wales in the near future I've got a used 2.5V6 DMF and clutch you can have for free. I was going to take it to the tip tomorrow....
