Title: Fault Codes
Post by: richard1967 on 08 February 2010, 10:57:19
Hi, if youve read my other posts you will see that my mig has been causing me alot of anxiety lately

Anyway long story short.  Ive had the Car with a Spanner light appear on the dashboard. Then the usual stuff happens:  Car drives like a bag of nails, hardly any power etc  The light seems to appear at approx 1500 revs at approx 30 mph. Ive had the codes read, and the following codes have come up

P1555 Throtlle position load signal not pausible
P1525 Limp Home position error
P1550 Limp Home
P0170 o2 Sensor

Any help is gratefully received

Different Garage have done the fault codes. Ive taken it elsewhere to have ONLY THE CODES read, nothing else.  They have all the diagnostic equipment. Never ever going back to the first garage again

Has the ticking noise been resolved.  Pointless chasing potentially false electrical items if the valves are bent

Richard ... if you have engine problems DON'T pay to have the codes read ..

I can do it for you for nowt !!!

I can only do engine codes and reset the EML .. nowt fancy .. but it might save a shilling or two .. :)

Perhaps we could so a comparison between the codes Ive been given, and perhaps your code reading. Would be interesting to see if they are the same?
