for all 3 on a single side to miss-fire would suggest coil pack problem, i would suggest swapping the coil packs over to see if the fault transfers, BUT not sure you can do that...... need someone else to confirm  :y

D'oh, cheers for clearing that one up.  :y

Instead i'd take the coil pack out, inspect it. Mind had some burn marks on it  :o

If its just the one side, and the plugs are new / clear of oil, would suggest coil pack failure  :'(

30k old plugs? I'd be changing those soon as possible. GM Twin Electrodes work well  :y

When my coil pack was giving up, it could be very temperamental - it would go a couple of days, no problems, then it would start missing all over the place. Not had any bother since changing it, and the fault codes have vanished. My problems were caused by water from the scuttle drain filling up the plug wells and eventually destroying the pack. Managed to get a new boxed genuine GM one from eBay for £35 from a guy clearing out old stock - Autovaux knocking them out for £70 ish. :y Good luck!  :y
