Title: Drop links
Post by: tunnie on 22 February 2010, 21:37:14
Anyone used these?

http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Vauxhall_Omega_2.2_2000/p/Car-Parts/Suspension-and-Steering/Suspension/Anti-Roll-Bar-and-Components/?632720060&1&163ac90c6411a5c2ff2fe6b841a03f9863459a8c&ABAL

Think DTM was recommending Euro car parts the other day, going to get 2 of these, as the wishbones are getting worse, its making some serious creaking noises over speed bumps now, already got some brand new wishbones in the garage.

Its possible got a big road trip next month, so going to get it sorted now. Think i will take it WIM to have wishbones done, so it can have a tune up afterwards.

Forgot actually bought them about 8 months ago (with 3 Omegas one of them would need them sooner or later!)

Think it was vauxpartsbuy or something, £25 each

Was it buypartsby?  I seem ro remember someone (think it was Marks DTM Calib, but may be wrong) saying that wishbones from buypartsby were krap!!  Might be worth PMing him for confirmation. ;)

I would not fit them, but i think several others have, seen the link posted a couple of times, 12month warranty is promising, but if they fail do you really want another set? Plus fitting and another set up?

Can you have a look for a makers name on them, suspect there wont be one though....
