I have an Omega with the X25DT 2.5 BMW diesel engine. Can anyone tell me the BMW engine code for this engine.

Thats what I thought it was. I quoted the M51D25 and the parts bloke just looked blank. I've had a price from Vauxhall for the chains, tensioners and guides just thought I would see if BMW where any cheaper.

When I costed-up the bits for my earlier tractor, I'm sure that BMW were slightly cheaper, and had far better availablity too.

Bought a replacement car in the end, and it's engine is as silent as a monastery!

Vauxhall stated 10 days to get the parts but its been sat on my drive for about 8 months so that won't make much difference ;D

Can you believe it Vauxhall want £245.75 and thats with a discount and BMW will supply the same parts for £200 all in :(

That's why, if I'd done the job, I'd have ordered from BMW.
