Hi Guys
Just need a little help, I've noticed recently that when the car is going in a straight line you take your hands off the wheel and the car drifts to the left. Is this simply a case of getting the tracking and balance checked or am I looking at something a little more serious.
TIA
:)

tracking and balencing unlikely to fix, full geometry check is what you need.
Lots of omegas have this tendancy, and a trip to someone who understands the car, such as wheelsinmotion in Chesham, will sort the problem.
most alignment centres will set the car to 'in the green' measurements, which isnt really accurate enough on these cars, once they are a few years old.

If you need a quick check Imperial Tyres on Elgin Industrial Estate in Swidnod are not too bad .. but nowhere near as good as WIM ... it's only an hour-ish to get to Chesham ... well worth the trip IMHO

But it could just be the camber of the road... WIM sorted mine, although that was 18 months ago and I really could do with another visit :( :(

Thanks for that I see a trip to Chesham coming up.

Check your front wishbone bushes and ball-joints for play before doing a geometry check cos if they need replaced you'll have to get the geometry checked again afterwards.

My pulling to the left was cured with a new steering idler. I also moved the front tyres to the rear, which helped with the tramling I also had.
Of course these are easy checks you can do before having full geometry done.
