Hi all
I have a 1999 Omega with the 2.0 Litre 16v engine & auto box.
Starting yesterday the EML comes on within a few minutes of starting and the engine revs vary (can cut out entirely when cold when you place it in 'D')
Sounds kind of like a missfire a 'chuntering' sound
Paperclip is giving me 0130 and 0340 (o2 sensor and CRM sensor)
Plugs/leads fairly new, recent cam cover gasket change (few weeks ago) other than that no recent work done.
Anybody had this before and can shed some light?
(Replace crank sensor?)
Thanks
Graeme

Replace the cam sensor with genuine part
Hi
I've just ordered a new cam sensor (Fleabay) (and it's a genuine one :) )
I'll keep you posted.
Any ideas about the 0130 error?

Have you checked the breather pipes are clear of crud? :-?

Hi
I de-cruded the pipes when I replaced the rocker cover gasket a few weeks ago - but thanks for the thought.
New cam sensor arrived today, fitted, no more warning light and car burbles nicely.
Part looks genuine (OK so that's no guarantee given the counterfeiting abilities around these days) - the guy uses an Ebay ID of astra.warehouse
