Title: Windscreen Wipers

Hi Chaps,
Just a little information please. I have a 2001, 2.6 Elite but do not have the rain sensitive wipers. What year did they introduce this?

I've had a 2002 '02' plate 2.6 Elite with them fitted, but have also encountered '02' plate Elite's without them.
My Elite was registered near to the change over to '52' plate, so I'd say mid 2002 would be about the best answer, but I'm sure someone will be able to confirm accurately.

i think they was an optional extra on all elite models i have a 2001 2.6 and in my hand book it has rain senser wipers with a little star next to it indicating optional extra

There is no star in my handbook referring to rain sensitive wipers. The only star is in connection with the headlamp washer. My guess is that they introduced this not long before the model was discontinued.
