Hi, I want to fit standard shocks to the rear of my Elite and do away with the air shocks, what is the best method to disable the air system and is there any other work needed?
Thanks,
Pete.

Unplug the compressor ... :) (It really is THAT simple) .. personally I'd seal the connections against water ingress as well..
:)

Its easier than that.....pull the small relay in the top right of the cabin fuse box

Pretty easy to remove all of the small air pipes too Pete doesn't look messy then ;)
-
if you pull the fuse dont you lose the rear auxcillary power point

Don't know if it's relevant .. but my "version" of the fuse box has the level control on 2 fuses ... 15 .. which does loads of other stuff .. and 27 ... neither of which are top right !!!

Perhaps the early cars are very different ??

Hence why you pull the relay.....
