Title: windows problem
Post by: vbelen4 on 21 March 2010, 18:16:25
One of the rear windows only moves 2 inches, up or down,  when you press the button, then it stops. It behaves the same with the drivers button or the rear seat button. Can anyone help to locate the problem?

The window is not stuck, it can be moved to the bottom or to the top, but only two inches every time you press the button.

Even if you keep your finger on the button?

there are sensors on the window motor to prevent the window closing on a child's head/etc. Your symptoms sound exactly like a sticking window, ie the sensors think there's an obstruction & cut power. Try spraying a silicon lub in the runners.

Yes, it stops like if it were an obstacle in its way. I'll lubricate the runners.
Thanks.
