I ordered a new aux belt. I got a 6pk2030 which stated it was right for my car.
When I took the old one off it was a 6pk2020. The new one fits very well and has got rid of all the horrible noises. Does this mean that the 2020 was fitted in error and could this have led to the downfall of the tensioner pulley i.e. too tight? :-/

its possible....autovaux ones have been worryingly tight in the past
