Hi guys, My problem is I have water inside my Car on the Drivers side front and rear foot room.
What are the main causes please?
My heater matrix is ok, and the windows are shut. there seems to be more water in the rear foot room. are there any plugs or such what could cause this?

leaking door seal or the sunroof drian would be my first port of call :y

Tunnie had it in rear footwell, was the clip that holds padding to chassis was missing, leaving hole in chassis.

thanks guts I will have a look in the morning and see if I can find the problem.

One thing i always clear out occasionally are the drain gutters and leaf traps under the bonnet - trapped wet leaves can cause rusting of the bulkhead and water leaks into the floor wells, also the sills, mudflaps and and wheel arches need cleaning and inspecting for trapped mud which could act as a sponge and eat through the metal.
Another tip is avoid using a hose or garage car wash when washing - high powered hoses will push water through the seals and cause all sorts of trouble, bucket and sponge is the best way, and saves gallons of wasted water. :y

Sorry to be dull here but could you please be a little more specific?
I've currently got a similar problem on a 1998 CDX Estate and its not a problem with sun roof or any door membraines either. Its got me stumped! :'(

For the GM carpets there are little clips which hold them matts to the carpet. These should be in the chassis, the other 2 Omegas we have has some fairly solid metal 'bits' here, but mine had a gaping hole :o
Sealed it with some silicone sealant and some araldite, it had been there for some time, used a Vax to get most of the water out. Its much better than it was, sometimes gets a little damp, but think thats due to the amount of water there soaking back through over time. Certainly main rear foot well carpet is much better.
Look under the car around the foot well area :y
