Title: Removing sills?

Can see the fastenings under the sill, is this all that holds them?
Can the rubber strips above the sill (the strip the door seals onto) be removed easily, and how?

Facelift estate BTW

The rubber seals are held via what looks like a wire nail heads welded to the body, and the rubber just clips to them.
