Post by: griffin on 04 April 2010, 09:50:07
Hi All

Can anyone help/advise. Not used the car since last weekend but when I statreted it this morning it was very hesitant and started roughly. Once started seemed to drive ok thought I'd do a peddle check and came up with the following 1612 code.

problem/solution

TIA

would this be a case of a loose transponder in the key? never had this fault so see what others say.

That would be my first check, followed by popping the steering cowelling off the check the receiver ring is still in situ and fully plugged in.

Thanks guys, just coinsidence about poor starting. The speedo, rev and mig panel were removed beging of last week so that may be the cause possibly.

May be a stupid question but I've taken the steering cowelling off (top section) but not sure what I'm looking for.

Sorry!!

Morning!

Checked everything and all seems to be intact, do I need a tech2 to reset the codes etc?

Thanks for any advice.
