I have just fitted my new wishbones which is the reason why it failed the MOT last week, but I have broken something. It is a little link on the passenger side that bolts on to the wishbone. I think it is something to do with the self-leveling headlights and they are now pointing down about 3 feet in front of the car. Am I right? I hope so...I've put a wanted ad on the forum. It's about 2" long with a push-on ball-joint on either end,

I suppose, strictly speaking, this shouldn't be in General Chat...I think.

could you not repair it bud ?? only moves slightly thats why they seize up !! ;D
-
I will try...How much force does it see? I know it's only a bit of plastic so I could get my soldering iron out and plastic-weld it. But if it needs a bit of structural integrity, it will need to be stronger.
-
not much really it just moves when you brake or accelerate !! try repairing it bud if it dont work you aint lost owt !! ;)
-
Put lots of two-tube Epoxy around the repair... the stuff hardens completely in 24 hours and it is as tough as normal plastic... and also ask Vx for a price... and check the local scrappies....
-
Cheers guys...I'll get out my tools again :)
