Post by: tanker12uk on 22 March 2010, 14:14:41
Hi all my miggy is trying to empty my wallet again my eml is on and it ran like a pig checked the codes found two faults one of which was the crank sensor replaced it and reset the codes using a local mates scanner car runs fine stopped drinking fuel but all ok untill I hit 3500rpm then the eml light comes back on I've done a lot a net searching and bugging local mech's and the general thought is a cam sensor what do you guys think the car is a 99 3ltr elite saloon with 163k on the clock I think I need a proper teck 2 on it but I dont want to get ripped off by VX again any one near me can help I'm in Bromley Kent  if this is in the wrong place someone move it for me please
I know the old lady is getting a bit high mileage but she still is the best car I've had in years and I dont want to lose her because of this

0133 is the multiram I think ??? check the plugs are in properly. It only gets a signal to open at high rpm, which would equate to the fault you are getting??

0033 is EGR ... more an annoyance than anything else, but check the plug is in properly on that ..

Low voltage usually means either unplugged or bad connection AFAIR
