hi ppl, need help with my dash problem, car starts headlight panel in dash lights up even when lights are off,on tick over dash ok, but as soon as u rev or drive all lights on dash comes on,tried fitting new dails, still the same,any help welcome,thanks guys,

By headlight, do you mean the blue main beam light?

yes, m8, engine manigment,abs,battery ,main beam,airbag, sometimes the battery goes flat aswell even tho its only about 4 months old

Sounds like an iffy earth connection to me. You will find a load of them under the battery tray ...........

As Rob says above, or could possibly be voltage regulator in the alternator

If you have a voltmeter (preferably digital), measure the battery voltage as you adjust the throttle setting. You can opearate it under the bonnet manually on non-facelift cars. See if there is a voltage that causes the problem to occur/resolve.
The voltage shouldn't drop too far below 13V, if its down at the 11 V or less level then you have a problem with either the battery or alternator - IMHO.
Everything should be steady at upwards of 13 Volts - although it will drop a bit when you crank whilst starting.
Try turning the headlights/heated rear window on, should drop a little, but not too far.

thanks guys ,but still no joy, tried the earth, thats all good, getting me down at min,if i cant find out whats wrong or if its gonna cost stupied money ,then i think i will just scrap,pity as its a lovely car
