Title: engine rattle

When i start my car from cold it rattles for a few seconds before the oil gets to the lifters but it is now doing it sometimes when warm.How easy or difficult is it to replace the lifters?

I doubt the lifters will need replacing. Do a couple of very short oil changes (500 miles) then a full service with some lifter treatment. That should shut them up :y
