Title: V6 'safe' position?
Post by: TheBoy on 30 April 2010, 22:03:16
GM V6 uses wasted spark, so therefore has a piston at TDC every 360/3 = 120 degrees?

Following on, that means the safe position to pull the cambelt off is 60 degrees before or after TDC for cyl 1?

Is my logic correct?

yep for #1 piston to be at tdc position  .. I remember some old posts that it must be before not after..
