Title: rocker gaskets

Having been smelling oil when engine is warm i was told to check plug leads.So i pulled off the front left lead and it was covered in oil.Does this mean the rocker gaskets need changing and if so how much should it cost to get done or how hard is it to do myself?

yes but the cause is blocked breathers, although they do go hard with age, use genuine vx gaskits and o rings only or they will fail early, £70 should cover it plus labour.

may need new leads as well. Dont use genuine leads though, they are extortionate i believe.
