Hi Guys
This is realy getting to me the car runs fine till you stop to put in some petrol or just stop at the mall . As soon as you start the car when its still at operating temprature and drive off it stutters/missfires almost as if its loosing spark or not getting fuel , the strange thing is when you put your fut down hard and it gets past 3500 rpm its fine and doesnt do it again till you switch off again , I have noticed the same simptoms when the car is first started in the morning but I dont drive it hard then I just wait for it to get up to temp and then its ok . Tested it by just driving under 3000 rpm then it goes away after about 1km . I have no fault codes stored and no EML light , have new plugs , leads and ect installed . Now im thinking it might be a lamda sensor , coilpack , tps or the ecu itself or even the crank sensor or cam sensor . I have a x30xe Motronic 2.8 ecu as spare that I can test but I would like to know what you guys think . What I dont get is that it goes just fine thats the only problem I have at the moment . Went back to the 3 bar fpr and we did test for leaks on the intake but there are none , had a leak on both exhaust manifolds thats sorted now . I know its hard to explain so I hope I got it right :-?
Will try to get a video of what its doing , but heres one I did in 3rd gear from 40 to 120 kph . As you can see its running ok

Ok its between 1800-2700 rpm . Cant hear it if you rev it , only under load could it be the coilpack ? But why does it come right :-/

Forgot to add that it also did it before the Unichip was installed and there is a new fuel filter and pump installed . Will it make a difference if the lambda sensors installed on different hights becase the place that made my downpipes mounted the front sensor lower than the one on the rear bank

Did you try disconnecting the maf and see if it makes any difference, had a similar problem before and this was the cause :y
-
Thanks will try it :)

Ok it turns out I do have one at home , however I think its from the c20ne motor . Do you think it will work ?
-
Just an update I unplugged the maf and it ran fine :-? so I guess its time for a new one .
Thank You :y

Good work.Sensitive little buggers :y

:-/ Swopped it out with a spare one I had , problem came back . Could the TPS also cause this ? . Or maybe the other one is buggerd too :'(

Some live data I got with "My Naff Code Reader".Spark Angle before TDC (Top Dead Centre) sill in negative at idle :-/ , Hall Sensor goes from inactive to active thats normal right :-? . Also noticed its there when the car is cold aswell :o

Ok
Swopped out the TPS and MAF can a Camshaft sensor do this ?
Had a nice look at it this morning its between 2000 and 3000 rpm , could sparkplugs do this as I am using the ones autodata said I must use ? . But it is kangarooing to better describe it

Think I got it sorted , took out the ecu and replaced the eprom with one from a x30xe mv6 ecu . Seems to have stopped 8-)
Thanks Guys :y
