Hi,
I know that there is a fair bit on the site about fixing door straps - but this focusses on where the straps attach to the body. Either replacement washers or re-inforcing plates.
Mine seem well fixed at those points - the bit that goes into the door seems to be the problem. I cant seem to find anything about fixing that as a problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks ........... Rob

The reinforcing plates are for the inside of the front of the door. If you have problems with the A post fixing point, then it'll need welding. :y

I need to repair the fixing on the A-pillar but do not have welding equipment on-hand. WOuld it be possible to drill holes through the spot weldings and put a flat headed bolt through the hole and put a nut on it from the inside?
