Title: oil around diff

hi,seem to have a bit of oil around the diff :(,its not noisy when driving,is this comon,i assume its an oil seal leak are they easy fixed :question

if its on the front of the diff or the sides the seals my just be weeping, easy option check the level and top it up,

The guide is for a pinion shaft seal. If it is an output shaft seal leaking then its easier to fix.
Just unbolt the drive shaft from the back of the hub and swing it clear.
Use a tyre lever / pair of LARGE screwdrivers etc to pop the drive shaft out of the diff (its held in with a spring ring)
Prise out the old seal and fit the new one.
Reassembly is the reverse etc etc.

hi,thanks for that,its proberbly an easier  fix will have to power wash it and then see were its coming from,thanks again. :y
