Title: Bad misfire diagnostics process!
Post by: Varche on 11 May 2010, 15:04:49
Quite depressed really. Now car has started misfiring. It goes after about 6 miles. Where should I start looking?

Oil in plug wells? Plugs? but they were new 2 years ago when I changed leads and then the DIS pack(which was actually the fault).

 :( :( :( :(

Not a lot. five thousand.

I have a mystery water loss too. I thought I had found the problem - heater matrix. But that is bypassed and no different. Not HBV chnaged that and no difference. I keep thinking deep down that the head gasket has gone.

If it's on it's way out u cud try 'K-Seal' which is american & guarantees to stop any leak (not tried it on me grandmother who's got incontinence!!  :D).
Have used it on radiator & hbv & worked a treat  :y

+1 on the K seal, its good stuff and does not bung anything up(except the leaks of course ;D)

Hiya using additives to stop leakes is a short term fix and usually causes other problems. so can be expensive later on. imho.
