still pondering this, and the figures im currently curning out dont make great reading.
assuming you have a saloon with an 80l tank, what is your range?
Please specify auto/manual and type of driving!
Thanks

270-300 from a 3.2 auto. Mixed urban / A roads / Motorway. Not hanging about but not constantly "on it".

25.3 mpg then.... assuming the tank is holding 80% of it's capacity (72litres)

250 from 60l (80l tank that needs slight tweak), seemingly unaffected by travelling conditions, but rarely 'spanking' the car currently.

Yep, fills to about 65 litres normally.
270 would be more representative of normal day to day driving but I can pretty much guarantee I'll see that from a tank unless I've abused it. The 300 end of the scale would be getting a bit "miss daisy". I did get 320 once.

Need to also factor in the extra servicing costs of the TD (needs a lot of oil, regularly, and the oil filters aren't cheap). But then you get to keep the boot :y
That said, the LPG needs a gas filter occasionally. Apparently ::)

Not too often though... Yearly (or longer TBH) is fine :y
