Hi my 2002 v6 2.6 omega ignition key has broke, I have twice resoldered the little push buttons on the curcit board but now it wont open or lock, although manually it will but in the morning the alarm sounds untill i turn the ignition on, I have reolaced the battery, i think it may be knackerd. sorry took ages to get to this question. can I replace the body with the board, keeping the chip and front of key. and if I can do you know where I can get this from Thanks

Terry, have a look for a member here called Martin Imber, he reconditions the remotes for around a tenner. To stop the alarm sounding reach round from the drivers side rear door and push the drivers door button down, then shut the rear door. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR KEY IN HAND THOUGH!!! That will stop the alarm setting, therefore sounding when you unlock it in the a.m. ;)
