Title: misfiring

what are the most common reasons for a misfire ??

i seem to have developed one today. cant be plugs as they are only about 3 months old. it idles then a big drop then back to idle.

I think it may be ignition coil? but at first i try to replace spark plugs

Clean the idle control valve and check for airleaks. Carb cleaner is handy for both of these jobs. :y

If you have No codes HT side Rich.
If it seems to be missing and running on 5 then plug or lead..

Try pulling a lead off (not when running :D) see which makes no difference to the running of the car :y

If you think its running terrible running on 4 maybe then Dispack :y
