evening all i have just had my air con regas and it dont seem to be any colder then it was before i was told that the omega air con goes ice cold but mine dosent they did take out 1200 grams would this cause any problems with it been over pressure as it was regased a week before i baught it they probley had taken it to kwikfit to be done. i had it done at a vauxhaul air con specialist in york i just want to make sure if its working right or it has a fault before i go back to complain the reason why i ask is my 800 rover and peugeot 406 used to get that cold it was like a freezer

when the a/c is on touch the pipe that goes into the bulkhead it should be ice cold if its not cold and you say its been regassed i'd say the compressor is faulty or a faulty switch/sensor. :y

just been out and checked it one gets quite hot and the other is icey icey cold

If the air con compressor is running I would say either the system has moisture in it, and this is causing the refrigerant to ice up, the compressor is not working or perhaps the expansion valve in the evaporator (under the dash) has failed.
Either way, take it back to the specialist. They should be able to diagnose the problem if they know their onions.

just tried the reset trick as it says in the hand book when you push auto and off together it says the fan shoud turn off for a couple of seconds while the servos reset them selfs but nothing happens
