That shield is for a reason as the cats get very hot and are required to stop the heat setting the underside of the car alight! ::) ::)
Personally I would get that seen to a.s.a.p. ;)

exhaust and cats do get very hot, even after just a minute or two running. Need to get someone to spot weld those back on :y

I like the seamstress type tape. :y :y

Or stops the grass catching alight when the cat is hot.
It'll be fine. Probably one (or two) less rattles too.
Just don't park on dry grass this summer! :)

Must, must, must, type faster ..........................

Where are you Mollie?

It's the heat shield to protect the heat from burning anything on the floor, it isn't the shield between the cat and car.
It will be perfectly safe to drive. Most aftermarket cats dont even have these shields on them. I used to buy scrap cats, so I've seen thousands of them.

Thank you all soooo much i think i might dare drive it tomorrow (dont fancy walkin to school/playshool/swimming lesson/gymnastics) I am in leicester by the way
