Title: Opening the Bonnet???
Post by: Stevie Bee on 20 May 2010, 18:59:28
Can anyone help?  I'm now unable to open the bonnet using the release inside the car.  Is there a quick & easy way of doing this?  I presume that the cable has now stretched beyond use, so just need help getting the thing to open first.

Cheers

You need someone to push down the front edge of your bonnet while you pull the handle.
If you remove the 3 plastic trim pieces over the radiator, there's a clamp on the outer sleeve of the release cable, slcken the clamp and pull the outer to take the slack out. Re-tighten the clamp.  :y
