I've got a 3.21 MV6 estate. Could someone please advise regarding missing at low revs, (anything below 2000rpm) in any gear.
When I put my foot down it seems fine. I have changed the spark plugs and I am thinking of changing
the air flow meter but they are not cheap. Do air flow meters play up?
Advice would be appreciated. - Thanks Terry

Does it have any fault codes stored?

You can unplug the air flow meter to test for change. The plug sticks out from the vertical pipe from the air filter behind the drivers headlight section of the engine bay. Push the lil plastic tab (with the ridges on) in with a bit of a wiggle and it should eventually click and free up.

Sorry . I had forgotten about that. I don't know how to do it but it is on here somewhere. I will type in 'fault codes' and see what happens.

John,
I've unplugged the airflow meter and it seems to be better. I am going for a longer run to be sure.
So what will happen to the mixture with this rinkydink disconnected?

Well it won't be perfect, but if it cures the misfire its a means to an end whilst you get a new one. It won't do any damage short term, not tried it long term but I wouldn't do it without finding out facts.
BUT...If there's still something not quite right though keep asking here, there's been dozens of people with the same problem here in the past few months.

Thanks for that. I have done a few miles today with it unplugged and she's a lot smoother.
