Title: Drop link change
Post by: GaryBC on 27 May 2010, 11:06:06
I got an MoT 'advisory' that my n/s drop link needs changing.

Looking at the maintenance guides on this site this job is linked to as wishbone change. According to Haynes though the link appears a pretty straightforward stand-alone job.

Any hints 'n' tips guys?

Cheers,
Gaz

The jobs an easy and cheap one. Just give the nuts a wire brush and lots of plusgas. IIRC its a 17mm and 19mm spanner ;)

Any half decent motor factor for a replacement I guess? And what does IIRC mean?

Easy job, mate. Did it last weekend, see my post on this about three days ago.
