Post by: cem_devecioglu on 27 May 2010, 19:15:25
engine starts normal from cold.. but if I try to start from hot , fuel comes very late after 2-3 starts and if accelerator floored.. :-?

crank sensor is geniune and ok, as I changed last year.. can it be pump ? :-/

Could be weeping injectors when parked - causing it to flood when restarted.

Might be worth checking coolant temperature sensor in case it's applying cold start enrichment even when hot.

Fuel pump? Not sure :-/ I'd expect the same symptoms when cold.

Is it cranking over fast enough when hot? Engine will be tighter when hot and will need more current to crank it over. Could be the voltage drops low enough for the electronics to drop out, or it's cranking too slow for the crank sensor to see - so perhaps a poor battery or electrical connection.
