Is my pride and joy and hitherto very reliable 2.5 elite dead?
Oil light came on yesterday driving at speed on M6. Came off at next junction and everything stopped! RAC came to my rescue and said it looks like engine has seized. is there any hope of rescue? :'( :'( :'(

what's the oil level?

The oil level appears okay as does the coolant.

Is possible the pump failed  :-[
