How often should the cam belt be changed on a 2.2 petrol Omega ?

Every 4 yrs or 40,000 miles - whichever is sooner. It is recommended to change the tensioners and water pump too (and aux. belt)

It's recommended that the 4 pots have their water pump changed when the cam belt is done, because, as the cam belt drives the pump, if the pump bearings fail, the belt can/will easily jump a tooth or 3 or 4 & bounce your valves off the piston crowns ..... not good. :-? :-?
While you're there, you could change the fan belt while you're at it ;) :y :y

Thanks Andy, looks like I need this doing on my 'new' car and on our current estate, which is due a cam belt, bloomin expensive cars I knew I should have bought a Mini, a proper one.... :D :D :D :y
