Title: Exhaust heat shield

Is there any easy way to stop the exhaust heat shield rattling?
Its driving me mad :'(

I would imagine the retaining bolts are totally corroded in - so you can't undo without shearing them off - but if you did this depending on access drill out and re-tap with ST ST bolts and copper grease - it helps but doesn't stop things seizing in the heat -- ( tried it at work several years ago - plenty copper slip - take out 1 hour later - still tight - mind you did get to 600 deg C in the meantime!)

if its the ones at the front round the cats....bloody great stainless jubilee clips work well  :y

I think it is the cat shields on the drivers side :y, bloody annoying rattle.
I'll  try the jubilee clip stunt tomorrow
