See this thread, as I have just posted the same questionhttp://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1276426418/7#7

Still need to know if 95 is normal ?

Mini facelifts (& I believe pre facelifts) should run mid point on gauge - thats about 95ēC - both ours run at this as a norm. Think facelifts run slightly "cooler" on the gauge.

My 2.5 certainly ran regularly at between 80-90, as indeed so does my current 3.0. However, members on here seem to report that theirs regularly runs up to 95+, so I would not worry about it.
As long as the fans kick in when stationery especially and the temp does not stop rising to above 100 everything should be ok. 8-) 8-)
I trust the coolant was changed when the work was done, with a 50/50 mix put in?

Not sure it was done at garage before had red, they put in blue but when it had red it ran at 95 as well thanks for all the posts :y

Both my 3.0Ls run at 95.
As Lizzie said, as long as fans come on when stationary and the temp goes back down then it's fine.

Mine normally goes up to 97 in traffic before the electric fan kicks in and brings it down to 90 normal running temp. :)
