is 25 MPG a reasonble expection from a Ford Transit SWB/MWB?
Its the slightly older shape one, not the TDCi engine.
Delivering bed and working out the fuel costs based on 25mpg.
I will of course drive it like a Transit should be ;)

be more like 20mpg bud !! ;D

fair dos, will calculate fuel on that :y

I used to get 15 - 20mpg out of my 2.5 diesel (non turbo) tranny, but it was heavily laden, and was gunned absolutely everywhere. Also, it was started at 8am in morning, and turned off at 5pm, usually just left idling if I was in with a customer...

Sold the bed then? :y

If its a white Transit, they seemingly go faster so consumption may be slightly less ;D ;D

And do the return run, and be back before 12.
