Help needed the "car with the spanner" indication light.
And having code
P1523 Electronic Throttle Control Malfunction
Where fiscally in the car do I look for the throttle control?
The car drive as regular don’t fill any problem
-
Sensor behind throttle pedal and one incorporated into the throttle body. As car seems to be running OK it`s possible you may have slight muck/crud in throttle body preventing butterfly flap from operating at optimum efficiency hence code.
Both sensors are pretty much bombproof regards failing

TNX Cleaned the throttle seems to be ok.

I meant muck/crud in the throttle bodies on the plenum :)

I cleaned the Resistor tracks. and now the indication light is off.
you think it's ok or the problem will come back?
