Title: Loction of engine number on V6

Hi,

Can anyone advise where the engine number is located on a '98 V6 please.

If I remember correctly it is on the passenger side of the engine above the oil filter housing. ;) ;) ;)

Might not go as quick but you got to love the fourpots for ease of work under the bonnet ;) ;D

Most of the nonsensical things probably make perfect sense if the V6 is in a front wheel drive car. In particular the difficult to access oil filter, crank sensor, engine number and DIS would all be at the front of the engine bay.
