Title: Lambda problem
Post by: Gaffers on 09 July 2010, 20:50:30
The new Cats didn't arrive until 4:30pm today, they were sent next day delivery on shity link on wednesday.  Go figure!

Whilst swapping over the lambda the first one came off ok, but the second would only go one turn.  So I put the sensor in the vice and gave the big heave ho.  I thought it was working till I realised that I had completely stripped the thread off the lambda.

I am now stuck as I planned to go sailing this weekend and the wife needs the silver bullet for work so I cant take that.  I can take a chance with Vx or Camberley Auto factors in the morning but if the cats had arrived when they should have or earlier in the day I would have had time to get a spare today! grrr  >:(

There is one near heathrow but I dont know if he is open on saturdays.  Just how far can I drive with no lambda?  ::) ::)
