Title: Code 137 - ECU Box too hot
Post by: Lazydocker on 11 July 2010, 18:38:48
Right, driving down from Hoddesdon to Dorchester on Friday was a nightmare... M25 was solid for pretty much the entire ring anti-clockwise so I did a bit of ducking and diving. During this the car was running a little hot (but no hotter than it has been lately with the hot weather) but I put it down to the fact we were stationary on the North Circular, in an underpass in direct sunlight and the outside temp was saying 46 Degrees which I can well believe after opening the window! :o :o

Anyway, just after we got moving the EML flickered on and stayed on until I switched off and re-started at the services. Code 137 - ECU box Temp High. Is this something to worry about?

TIA

Does yours have the cooling fan (behind passenger front arch liner)? If so, is it working...
