Title: Air Con Sorted and Conclusion !

Further to my recent posts regarding my air con woes. In short its sorted, in short again, DON'T ALLOW ANY OLD MUPPET TO RECHARGE YOUR AIRCON.

The local garage offering to regas mine, charged £30.00 only to tell me that the compressor was flubbered.

It wasn't at all. Got a mobile expert in, cost £55.00 for a full system check and regas and its all working a treat...soddin freezingly working a treat to be honest.

Thanks guys for all the help and assistance. The replies prompted me to get it looked at again...darn pleased I did.

Have asked muppets for refund, however unlikely it will be to see the £30 again !

If they will not comply hit them with Trading Standards and an article (without names but a decent description) in your local paper!You could take them to your lcal county court for a small claims against them. It cosots you 30.00 initially but you get it back from them when you win. They will probably not want to be willing to dispute it anyway and will just refund you. Tell them your intention and see what they do.
Name them and shame them, I would.

He seemed to have all the gear, was on time and honest. Explained how it all worked...not that I can remember any of it ?

He also does loads of other things which I have no experiance on...but regarding Air Con he did a great job for me.
