Sounds like oil cooler has broken :(
Any idea when the coolant was last changed?
Can you switch CAPS LOCK off please
-
classic oil cooler failure, as Lincs mentions, turn your caps lock off
-
Start buying detergent (low foam) or Fernox ... cleaning the oil out of the cooling system is a major pain, once you've replaced the oil cooler, and you need to get ALL the oil out or it will congeal and block the radiator/heater matrices .. :(
-
Stop using the car till you get it fixed, you'll only be doing damage to the rubber hoses in the cooling system. They don't like oil and will soften and ultimately fail.
-
Changing the oil cooler isn't a bad job but getting the oil out of the cooling system is a pain :(
-
As others say, likely failed oil cooler. Don't use until fixed, that oil going through coolant system is causing damage...

I think wynns do a coolant flush thing that breaks down the oil quite well, used it before and seemed to do the job, obviously its not worth doin this till the problems fixed.
When i used it you put the can of wynns in, then u have to run it up to temperature a few times, then drain coolant after every run untill eventually it dissapears.
You will still get sum oil residue though as its nigh on impossible to get it all out. :(

yep, Ive had this too. Def sounds like the oil cooler and as everyone else has said, the real pain is the amount of time it takes to flush out the oil . Seem to recall that when mine went (first noticed it all over the carpark ) there was some debate about it being either the oil cooler or head gasket but ,being the helpful lot you guys are, someone on here posted me a good diagnostic link to make double sure I didnt spend my money on the wrong option!
