My mechanic could do with a few clues on the easiest way to do it. ......
Romove bag pipes
slip the 'fan belt off the pulleys
remove the power steering pully to access the 2 ... 3? mounting bolts
Jubliee clip holding the hose to the header tank off ... that's it.
Reverse for fitting new pump. :y
How long has your mechanic been doing this type of work? :-? I wouldn't have thought a proper mechanic would need his hand held for a basic job like this. ;)

I think he knows how to change the pump but he cant actually see where it is, think he wanted to know the easiest way to get into it without taking the whole engine apart ;D

Yeh but, its pretty basic stuff to find such an item, 30 seconds of following the power steering pump pipes gives a small hint ;D

he's only had a quick look just think he wants it done as quick as poss so he doesnt have to charge me too much , he can do it but was wondering the quickest way to change it , its not the changing of it its the getting to it ;D
