Title: Re: oil cooler
Post by: Marks DTM Calib on 14 July 2010, 12:33:05
How the hell do they recon one!

I would use this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Oil-Cooler-93176626-Sintra-Cavalier-MK3-V6-/200474871064?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2ead3bc518

Plus you need 4 washers for the oil cooler ot oil pipe connections plus 4 dowty washers for the coolant bridge and the correct (grey) sealent

Not sure I would fit a secondhand oil cooler to be fair as I would only want to do it once. You don't know how long a secondhand one will last :-?

Just my opinion by the way :)

Without sounding rude mate, it all depends on how long the secondhand one is going to last?? that you don't know... it could last another ten years  :-?

I know I would have a new one and there is no ifs or buts ;)
