Lots of blood, sweat and tears... Now I'm tired so jumping in the bath for a soak :)
A quick question though. I only have to fit the clutch pipe, gear selector and prop. BUT lol.
The inhibitor switch is giving me a headache and thats why I'm leaving it till last. I know pin 28 is live when in P or N, so do I connect this up permanently OR connect it to a switch live wire?
Any ideas will be much appreciated. :y

Are you refering to the solenoid on the ignition barrel that some have or the starter inhibitor?
-
The starter inhibitor, to trick the ecu into thinking it's in P or N.

Under the bonnet, just in front of the battery are 3 big round multiplugs.
Join the wires on pins 1 and 2 (both Black/Red) of connector X4 (the middle one of the three) together on the base part.
You also need to ground one of the pins on the MID to stop the autobox warning coming on (or re-programme with tech2).
-
Surely just a link / bridge on the connector itself to loop the circuit, or, are you trying to do it at the ECU? Did this on a Granny once!

Links are bad news as they have a habit of corroding the connector over time.
Pus there may be other pins on X4 that are still needed by the engine ECU so it has to be possible to re-fit the plug.

Jeeze, talk about the definitive answer!
Thanks mate :y
