I drilled the black plastic portion of the rear bumper of mine, since the licence plate took two inner sensors' place. If you will do the same, please note that all of the sensors should be perpendicular to the ground so that they can warn you on time. To do so, I noted the angle, glued them by using magic glue with the coolant spray and then spreaded black silicon over glue in terms of esthetic view. 8-) ;)

My car is the face lift type estate i had to take the bumper off there is only foam and space bars so you have to take bumper off to drill the holes in the right place
put masking tape on so its easier to mark

I replaced the bumper on my Elite Saloon (managed to find a brand new one that had been removed by a VX dealer to fit an Irmscher kit on delivery in the right colour). I measured them and copied onto the new one but unfortunately never took a note of the measurements.

The polystyrene impact panel on mine had been cut back to allow the sensors to fit, the cutting looked to be an afterthought!

When drilling my irmscher, I placed th facelift bumper inside the new one and drilled through the original holes from the inside out. Need to account for the angle the drill goes through if you nwant to be really fussy, but it saved a lot of buggering about. I also found by drilling a practice hole that my inserts fell between sizes of hole cutter, so had to grind the teath off the outer edge with a bench grinder to get the correct fit.

However I can take some measurements if needed, pm me, as I still have the old bumper with holes.

Just to add, if its not a Vx Kit, before you start drilling anything, make sure the depth of the sensors aren't to deep, theres not much space behind the rear bumber and where there sensors need to be.
